Giralia Resources

Yuinmery JV

Yuinmery, is located 10 kilometres east of the historic Youanmi gold mine (700,000 ounces Au produced) and 55 kilometres south-west of Troy Resources NL's Sandstone gold operations.

Giralia controls contiguous tenements (over 200 square kilometres) covering almost all of the Yuinmery greenstone belt. The belt contains numerous historical gold workings and base metals anomalous gossans. Re-assaying samples from previous base metals exploration drill holes for gold has defines a gold mineralised shear zone extending north of the untested soil anomaly described above, with best results of 15 metres @ 0.21 grams per tonne Au.

A joint venture has been negotiated with La Mancha Australia Pty Ltd, which has earned 51% interest. Early drill testing of unexplored gold in soil anomalies is planned, along with follow-up of targets defined by reassessment of historical exploration data, following the completion of a detailed aeromagnetic survey.

First pass soil sampling and RAB drilling in 2004/5 returned positive results from the 'Obstructor' and 'Thwarter' prospects and at Pete's Patch, where an isolated gold-in-soil value of 29.06 g/t possibly associated with the Youanmi Shear.

Several intersections of interest were returned from RAB drilling in 2007, including;
